OMFG this movie was corny with cheese on top, OMFG. It doesn't take itself too seriously, though, so it's almost bearable. I did have the urge to leave within a few minutes, I'll admit. Several others in the theatre couldn't resist this urge and spared a few hours of their lives from being utterly wasted.
This is a must see for any Jet Li or Jackie Chan fans!!! This was a long awaited overdo team-up. And word has it that they are in the works to make more movies together. Well, I'll be there when that happens. This was a little "Hollywood" but I know they will come back stronger on the Martial Arts Genre!! See It!!
Take your kids, neighbors, grandma or best friend - this is a show for everyone. The scenery is fantastic, acting is top notch and the storyline - while highly unbelievable - converts you anyway.
This movie was very entertaining. Jackie Chan and Jet Li also do a great job in their roles, and it is a story with great martial arts action. The white kid was such a dork though, he was really bad. Also this movie was fashioned off of the wizard of oz .
I enjoyed it and its highly recommended for all the old school kung fu enthusist. I grew up on the Shaw Brothers movies and really related to the how a young kid can really enjoy the genre. Jackie and Jet Li were awesome. The fight scenes were spectacular and the epic scenery and costumes were awesome. I'll buy it on dvd for sure.
